NEW Electronic Gate Lock Coming SOON!

We’ve been busy replacing old keys with the new electronic fob for the boat launch! We have not yet swapped out the old lock on the gate, but plan to do so soon! A notice will be sent out when the changeover happens.

If you have not yet picked up your new key fob or stickers (required for motorized and non-motorized watercrafts), they will be available at the next meeting on July 23rd at 7:00pm on the second floor of the public safety/township building. Fobs cost $15 and stickers are no charge.
Please keep your old key as a precaution in the event of electronic lock malfunction.

The Horseshoe Lake Corporation Board of Trustees meetings are held the first Tuesday of every other month at 7 p.m., on the second floor of the Northfield Township Public Safety building, 8350 Main St. in Whitmore Lake, HLC Members are encouraged to attend the meetings - it's a good way to learn what's going on!

Nestled between Six and Seven Mile Roads (just east of Main St.) in the city of Whitmore Lake is one of Washtenaw County’s best kept secrets… a quiet, private lake community. While most commuters are fighting traffic Friday night to take the long drive north, this community is snuggled in for a weekend of fun, relaxation, and water sports. This all sports lake is a year-round haven for fishing and lake living. It’s located just six miles north of Ann Arbor and eight miles south of Brighton.
